Ralph’s Launches Local Grocery Delivery and the first two locations are downtown Los Angeles and Irvine.

Instacart the largest on-demand grocery delivery service will begin delivering from Ralph’s in Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, Pasadena, San Fernando Valley, Thousand Oaks the South Bay beach communities.

By the end of November there will be 38 more Ralph’s delivering groceries to your doorstep via Instacart, a nationally recognized on-demand retail delivery service.

Ralph’s launches local grocery delivery as a result of the growing battle for food delivery services and to compete with it’s competitors already offering the service.

Ralph’s two current locations offering the delivery service are downtown Los Angeles located at 645 West 9th Street in Los Angeles and Irvine-Woodbury at 6300 Irvine Boulevard in Irvine.

How does Ralph’s local grocery delivery work?

Place your grocery order through www.ralphs.com/delivery or their app.

  1. Start by selecting your store and over 40,000 different products including perishables sorted by category.
  2. Fill your digital shopping cart with what you need and once completed you can select a delivery time between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.
  3. An Instacart shopper will then hand pick the items on your shopping list and deliver the order within your selected time frame.

Founded in 1873 Ralph’s currently operates 191 supermarkets from its headquarters in Los Angeles. Ralphs is a subsidiary of The Kroger Co., (NYSE: KR), one of the world’s largest retailers, based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Last year, Ralph’s contributed more than $6 million to support education, hunger relief, women’s health and local nonprofit organizations in the communities served by the company’s stores.
