Weekends wearing you out? If you’re ending your weekends feeling exhausted, alone, and financially drained from the long, expensive nights out, then I invite you to join #SoberSatuday with Loosid.
If you’re looking to spend time with like-minded sober individuals and to join in on plans that don’t revolve around expensive alcoholic drinks, download Loosid, the newly launched application and sober community platform that makes finding sober outings easy and accessible!
The Loosid team is challenging you to sober Saturdays for the month of March.
Loosid events are popping up for individuals like yourself to avoid those exhausting Sunday blues.
Loosid was born out of the need to unite the sober community and bring together those people in recovery and battling addiction, as well as those who choose to live a sober lifestyle for other reasons (a combined total of over 100 million people from all walks of life).
Loosid’s vision is to create a comprehensive digital platform for the sober community that celebrates the sober lifestyle while at the same time providing support for those members of the community in recovery or struggling with addiction. Through Loosid, it’s easy to find other people who share your perspective, who know all too well that being sober doesn’t mean life has to be boring.
Loosid makes it easy to find new friends and even new love, to find fun sober events and destinations, and to find groups in your community and beyond that promote sober living. All at the touch of a button.
Loosid provides an entire free suite of recovery tools for the members of the community who are fighting to maintain their sobriety (that can be switched off for those not in recovery). In addition, a portion of the in-app purchases are donated to local and national recovery programs and charities that are on the frontlines in the fight to combat addiction. The company’s philosophy is live sober, love sober. In order to live sober, you truly have to love being sober. Let’s embrace the sober life together.
MJ Gottlieb is the Co-Founder & CEO of Loosid, a groundbreaking new app that makes it easy to find new friends, dating, music events, fun sober events and destinations, and groups in your community that promote sober living. MJ has been sober since March 2012, but began his first attempt at sobriety in the late 1990’s. He invariably found his way back into addiction for one main reason… to him, sobriety simply wasn’t fun.
In 2017, MJ began developing the Loosid app to offer millions of people in the sober community access to fun experiences and a place to connect and find support. He also wanted to create a full suite of recovery tools for people to connect and get help at a moment’s notice. He knew the stigma so many have reaching out to people and knew that the best way to provide that connection was through the one thing that people are never without –their phones.
In addition to starting Loosid, MJ also owned and operated six businesses over the last 23 years. Clients have included: Fubu, Phat Farm, Samsung America and lists of others in the sports, clothing, media and entertainment industries. He is also the author of How to Ruin a Business Without Really Trying, a book written for the aspiring entrepreneurs of our next generation on the most important things NOT to do when starting and running a business for the first time. The foreword to the book was written by Shark Tank’s, Daymond John.
